Guidelines for EntriesThank you for contributing to FlyNome. It is important you read and understand these guidelines as they address our standards for submissions. These guidelines describe the proper kinds of conduct and prohibited uses of FlyNome. These guidelines are not exhaustive. We reserve the right to modify these guidelines at any time, effective upon posting. By accessing FlyNome and using our service, you agree to abide by these guidelines as modified from time to time. Any violation of these guidelines could result in the suspension or termination of your account or such other action as we deem appropriate. Return to top. Use of email addressesWe require your valid email address in order for you to make contributions to FlyNome. Your confirmation of the email address used to register constitutes acceptance of these policies and guidelines. We require your email address for two primary reasons: 1) to provide some level of accountability for the Content you contribute, and 2) to enable us to communicate with you in the event of a question or conflict regarding the Content you contribute. During the registration process, you can choose to keep your email address from being displayed with the entries you contribute. Return to top. Use of CookiesFlyNome uses "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you register with FlyNome, a cookie helps us to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Additionally, cookies are used to confirm your identity when making an entry. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. We will explicitly ask you when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you ("Personal Information"). Generally, Personal Information is requested when you register at FlyNome or when you contribute an entry. Policy 2. Your email address will not be added to any mailing lists or sold/given to any third parties. You may receive emails from FlyNome regarding specific entries you make or in the event of major changes in FlyNome's content and/or it's policies. Policy 3. We may disclose Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates; (b) protect and defend our rights or property or those of our users, and (c) act as immediately necessary in order to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
